You will uncover, recover and discover the knowledge and guidance you need to design the life that you want.
Who will benefit from an Ayurvedic Lifestyle?
You don’t have to be a yoga professional to benefit from Ayurveda and Ayurvedic nutrition plans. Anyone who is looking to improve their life and their health will benefit from private Ayurvedic session.
During sessions, we will discuss your daily habits, how you are feeling, your general energy levels, your nutrition, sleep, Yoga practices, and any other part of your life that you would like to chat about.
Ayurvedic Health
Together we’ll design an Ayurvedic daily routine, called a dinacharya, to help you bring more balance and improved health to your life.
These Ayurvedic lifestyle consultations are for people who are vegan, transitioning to a vegan diet or just exploring a plant-based diet and also want to adapt some or many Ayurvedic principles.
What you will get:
An Ayurvedic eating plan to balance your doshas and fit in with your lifestyle
Suggestions for Ayurvedic herbs, spices, oils, and treatments for wellness and pleasure
A Yoga asana and exercise routine, specific to your dosha, to bring strength, flexibility and grounded vitality
Meditation and pranayama (breathing) techniques to calm the body and mind
Daily and seasonal routines to create vibrant health, balance, and harmony
Mindfulness, meditation and breathing exercises to regulate emotions, decrease stress, increase focus and concentration and foster loving and non-judgmental self-observation.
Guidance and suggestions will be offered depending on your predominant doshas, your current state of health and how you are thinking and feeling in your body and mind.
Learn how to use food as a medicine that you enjoy very much.
These consultations are literally about learning to eat what makes you happy! It may sound oversimplified, but when you don’t eat what makes your mind and body happy, you start to go out of balance.
Consuming things that bring a quick blast of pleasure like caffeine or sugar is often followed by regret and/or mental or physical symptoms such as anxiety, pain, inflammation, allergies, digestive complaints or other mental upset. Either steadily consuming or alternating between binging and avoiding things that are not good for you can lead to chronic problems. The fleeting gratification and distraction is extremely compelling and it can be so hard to say no to, but it will not make you happy in the long run.
Everybody is different.
Ayurveda will give you the keys to your personal unique kingdom.
You will already have a pretty good idea about what the things that are good or not so good for you, but Ayurveda will really help you figure that out.
Food freedom is not about getting to eat as much of anything that you want when you want it, nor is it about using every ounce of willpower to fight the urges to eat things that you are addicted to. It is about being free from cravings or habits that are depriving you from a peaceful and truly happy relationship with food. Ayurveda will help you to WANT TO MAKE GOOD CHOICES.
Ayurveda totally has the solution to food freedom. By learning to stoke your digestive fires (agni) and keep them steady with regular eating and exercise and learning to eat for your body type (dosha), you will find a simple and easeful way forward to optimal health.
Best of all, Ayurveda is not a new and passing fad. Its ancient teachings have stood the test of time and its practitioners are living proof of how eating well can lead to sparkling health and vitality.
Herbs, Spices, and Oils
In Ayurvedic medicine, herbs and spices may be suggested as part of your plan. Spices are suggested in your food plan according to your body type. Ayurvedic herbs may be discussed as well, but they are chosen very carefully and used sparingly and only as a support to the other changes that you are making.
An Ayurvedic Yoga Routine Just for You
Specific Yoga poses will be selected for you to bring balance to vata, pitta, or kapha doshas, the seasons, the time of day, the time of the month and your stage in life. You will be offered a unique yoga routine to practice at home at a pace that is appropriate for the state of your health at the moment. I’ll make sure that it fits in with your schedule so that your plan enables you to cultivate mindfulness, harmony and peace and release stress instead of adding to it! And your body will get stronger and more flexible too!
A Meditation & Mindfulness Plan
If you would like to establish a daily meditation practice, I can help you. There are so many possible benefits of meditation such as calming the mind, gradual weight loss, deep rest for body and mind, reducing unwanted feelings such as fear, anxiety and guilt, happiness and release of stress.
This could include pranayama (breathwork), meditation, mindfulness and deep relaxation techniques.
Habits, Routines & Practices
Ground yourself in healthy, lasting habits with Ayurveda. You will be invited to explore small changes that are aimed at putting you in touch with your true self, the part of you that wants to be healthy, so that making permanent changes becomes totally simple. You will make strategically chosen changes in the right order for you so that you make progress quickly, your motivation grows but you are not overwhelmed.
